How Kalki’s 2898 AD Created a Record on BMS
The movie Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas and directed by Nag Ashwin, is still very popular and making a lot of money. It had a great day on Tuesday, thanks to the holiday. Kalki has already made over 1000 crore rupees worldwide and is on track to become one of the highest-grossing Indian films.
The movie has also broken a record on BookMyShow, selling over 12.5 million tickets – the most ever for an Indian movie. It beat the previous record held by Jawan in just 20 days. Kalki will likely break more records since it won’t be available on streaming platforms for 10 weeks.
