Mlas Quitting: What Is KCR’s security Plan?
After losing elections, BRS is now losing its lawmakers too. About 10 MLAs have left the party recently. To counter this, party president KCR has come up with a plan. Since the departing MLAs have left a leadership vacuum in their constituencies, KCR is appointing local in-charges to motivate party workers.
For example, Danam Nagender left Khairatabad to join Congress, so KCR may appoint Manne Govardhan Reddy as the in-charge. Similarly, Prakash Goud quit Rajendranagar to join Congress, and KCR may replace him with Karthik Reddy, the son of Sabita Indra Reddy.
However, replacing Arekapudi Gandhi in Serilingampally may be difficult as he has a strong following. BRS is also likely to appoint Bhupal Reddy as the in-charge in Patancheru after Mahipal Reddy joined Congress.
